Chesterton Windmill
Chesterton Windmill has stood as a definitive landmark within the South Warwickshire countryside for 350 years. Built in the mid 1630's for Sir Edward Peyto it is the earliest "tower mill" style windmill that is still operational. From its vantage point the mill overlooks the Roman Fosse Way, and the outline of the ancient Roman settlement of Great Chesterton. The mill is now owned and maintained by Warwickshire County Council.
